Special Delivery

Since getting Clint's terminal diagnosis almost a month ago it has been gut wrenching.  But the other day we got an AMAZING gift in the mail

Clint and I received a letter from Jeffrey R Holland - one of The Members of The Quorum Of The Twelve Apostles!!

We are so full of gratitude for his strengthening words and humbling perspective.

Each day we try to focus on doing the small things that we are commanded to do while enjoying the precious fleeting seconds we have been given together. Desperately clinging to Heavenly Fathers promise that if we are faithful we will be blessed.....

Even though Clint's cancer has not gone according to our desires we have been extremely blessed each day in many other ways. When our burdens have been too much to bear we have been strengthened beyond reason

"Peace be unto thy soul;thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment;

And then if thou endure it well, God shall exalt thee on high;"

- Doctrine & Covenants 121:7-8

Dealing with cancer and the catastrophic effect it has had on our family has given us greater determination to be faithful as we hope to be worthy of the blessings we desperately stand in need of and the cure we so desperately desire.

We have still have hope that Clint will have a miraculous recovery but if not we KNOW that families ARE  forever and he will always be my babies Daddy

 and the Prince Charming of My Fairy Tale....
